Nossa Senhora da Saude Porcelain Statue Our Lady of Health Madonna And Child

This is a lovely vintage porcelain statue of Nossa Senhora da Saude ( Our Lady of Health) holding the Christ child. It is approximately 7 inches tall, has hand painted gold gilt decoration. An unmarked porcelain body and dark brown composites base. I don't see a manufacturer's mark, so it was most likely made in Portugal or Brazil, or imported from one of those countries during the 1960s-1980s for the devotional gift market. This beautiful devotional figure is finished in white porcelain with hand applied gold gilt accents. Front of the base is labeled. N.S.DA. SAUDE. Condition. Very good vintage condition. No cracks or repairs observed. Light wear to gold gilt consisting with age. There is wear to the finish on one corner of the dark base. The label has a small tear in foil, above the U. A lovely devotional statue for a home altar, religious collection or gift. Non smoking pet free home. I will refund any shipping overage.
