Description
This vintage ceramic covered recipe pie plate from Universal Trump Corp features a charming chocolate cream pie design. The plate includes a detailed recipe for chocolate pie on the underside and a removable lid shaped like a meringue pie topped with a ceramic chocolate bar. It is a unique collector's item that combines functionality with decorative appeal. The plate is in very good condition with only minor surface wear consistent with vintage use. Please see photo. The decorative chocolate bar looks like it had a chip repaired. They did it pretty well as I didn't notice it until I was taking photos. The pie plate-top and bottom are otherwise in great condition. It measures 11 in diameter.
