Antique Minton For Tiffany & Co Demitasse Cup Cobalt Blue Gold Band

Antique porcelain demitasse cup made by Minton in England for Tiffany & Co., New York, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. The cup features rich cobalt blue bands with raised gilt decoration on an ivory ground, finished with a gilt rim and gilt-accented handle.  The underside bears the purple backstamp reading “Mintons / Tiffany & Co / New York / Made in England” with pattern number 3660, confirming English manufacture specifically for Tiffany’s New York retail market. The “Mintons” backstamp reflects the period branding used by the Minton factory during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  Measurements:   * Height: 2 1/4 inches   * Diameter: 2 1/4 inches (not including handle)  Condition: Very good antique condition. No chips or cracks observed. Gilt remains bright with light, age-appropriate wear. One small blue dot inside the cup, consistent with the cobalt glaze color and likely original to production. Light discoloration to the foot consistent with age and shelf wear.  Cup only. Saucer not included.
