【New, Unopened】Gakken / Otona no Kagaku Magazine Toy Record Maker (Bonus Edition)

Gakken / Otona no Kagaku Magazine
Toy Record Maker

Connect the cable to your smartphone (or any device with a 3.5mm mini-plug) and you can cut music and voices. This is a toy record maker that can cut and play back recordings onto 5-inch (approx. 12.7cm) mini analog blank records.

Because they are 5 inches, these records are slightly smaller than standard 7-inch singles. You can record for about 4 minutes on one side at 33 RPM, or about 3 minutes on one side at 45 RPM. Both sides can of course be recorded on.

This is the deluxe edition, so in addition to 5 black and 5 white records, it also includes 5 lime green and 5 light blue colored vinyl records. With a total of 20 records, it also comes with 2 extra cutting needles.

The playback needle is the same type used in commercial record players, allowing you to listen not only to the 5-inch records you've cut but also to 7-inch singles (old-style donut records). It has a built-in speaker, of course. It also has an output terminal, so you can connect headphones or external speakers.

Everything from assembly and usage to the equalizer app and needle replacement is available on YouTube, so you can rest assured.
