Antique Wood Picture Frame 19th Century Large Lady Photo Mount OD 10"x12.25"

Antique Portrait Photograph with Antique Wood Frame - 10 x 12-1/4 x 1-5/8 OD of Frame - Viewable Window Area of Portrait area is 7.25 x 9.5 This antique frame has a portrait picture of an older woman that appears to be of ethnic heritage wearing Victorian era clothing. I find no markings or signatures on the frame or any visible on the photo front. The wood frame has a reddish tone - could be Rosewood, Cherry, or Mahogany - it has a pretty knot on one side. I removed the photo and backing to see if there were any notes for provenance written, but what I found is that the photo, matt, and glass are one piece. Daguerreotype? No note. The mat looks like a type of old short mohair fabric that has wear and balding in spots. This one is fairly sepia toned, even if my photos don't convey it. I took quite a few through the glass to try to get a good clear image of the woman. Condition: Considering the age, this portrait and frame are in good condition. I don't get the sense it is fragile and ready to fall apart. The back of this picture had glazing points to hold the cardboard backing in the frame, but it was brittle and the points went through. I removed them and used kraft tape to secure frame to portrait. The wood has finish wear and little nicks or scratches as expected per its Victorian era age. The back had a brass ring stuck in the cardboard to hang it from, but I wouldn't trust it per that brittle cardboard. Please inspect before hanging.
